Anthony Ward volunteered his time on the Sonshine FM Careline over 12 years, and is on the   Committees of the Sonshine Careline Steering Committee, Westerly Family Centre Committee, is a Carer's WA (Mental Health) Rep, Safe Work Australa Ambassador and The Cabin - Chiang Mai, Addiction Therapy Ambassador.

MODES: Anthony also Counsels Christians and non-Christians alike, face-to-face by appointment, online via email and Skype. Award Counselling has helped counsel clients globally via the internet.

Qualified: Anthony is a Counselling post graduate of Notre Dame University, a Fundamental Baptist Bible College of Australa - qualified minister and a lay Evangelist. He has worked in various church ministries, including lay
preaching, Worship Leading, Young Adults, Youth and Children Ministries, for over 20 years. He has mentored youth and adults alike with a genuine heart for those who don't seem to fit in with society, even church.

Anthony Ward, became a saved Christian over 30 years ago in 1978 at age 11. He rededicated his life at age 24, to helping others reach their full potential. When appropriate, he shares the benefits of Salvation in Christ and fruitful Christian living. He is regarded as being knowledgable on Family values, Christian Living, especially Addiction Therapy and Spiritual warfare. He has counselled various clients from many walks of life, eg;

Pre-teen bullies, drug and sex addicts, prostitutes, victims of crime, natural disaster victims (Bali Bombing, Cyclone Yasi & QLD/NSW Floods, Kelmscott/Roleystone Bush Fires 2011), cheating partners, church confllicts, call centre conficts, hospitality relations, counselled business managers & Directors and recently, Mine Site/Camp trauma victims (Dalby QLD /Karara WA) and just everyday Christians who are faced with the challenges of life.

Anthony does not consider himself an expert but offers diverse life experience as a Christian and non-Christian and has a university and Christian education. He currently Counsels at three practices, offers Pro-Bono (free) counselling to those experiencing severe financial hardship in the community.

Anthony is also a Relief Mine Camp Manager on remote sites in Australia where he utilises his FIFO Counselling skills to help improve the mental health of mine workers, FIFO families and mine facility management staff. Anthony has Relief managed 14 mine camps in WA alone and was a nominated Finalist in the 2012 Mining Prospect Awards in 3 categories, including; 'Excellence in OH&S', 'Community Difference' and 'Mine Manager of the Year'. 

Anthony Ward is a not-for-profit lay Evangelist through 'Award Ministries' and Christian businessman managing an on-line 'Award Marketing' business. Anthony donates generously to his local church and to those in need, from the funds of his business.
